Hindus in Sindh underwent 1000 years of invasion and genocide

For those who don’t know, Hindus in Sindh underwent 1000 years of invasion and genocide, yet they could survive and thrive because of Jhulelal.

When an invading Islamic Tyrant named Mirk Shah threatened Sindhi Hindus to either convert to Islam or face death, people prayed to the water god (Varuna) for help. After 40 days, the prayers were answered, and a child was born in Nasarpur in the family of Rattan Rao Luhana as ‘Uderolal.’ “In Sanskrit, ‘Udero’ means the one who has sprung from the waters. It is believed that the child was an incarnation of God Varuna. This child was later known as Saint Jhulelal, the savior God of Sindhi Hindus. Jhulelal transformed into a warrior and an older man who preached and reprimanded Mirkhshah that Muslims and Hindus deserve the same religious freedoms. He warned everyone that the Sindhu River (Indus River) would flood and destroy the homes of anyone who messed with the Hindus of Sindh.

Jhulelal’s Secrets

When Hindus prayed to Varuna Devata for 40 days in order to find a solution against
Mirkshah, a Muslim ruler of Sindh, they followed a few strict rules.

1. They didn’t sleep in bed, only on the floor.
2. They observed Brahmacharya.
3. They didn’t eat fried eatables, non-vegetarian food, onion and garlic, white items like milk, curd, rice.
4. They didn’t shave or cut hair and nails, didn’t use soap and oils.
5. They avoided wearing leather shoes or leather belts.

Isn’t this so similar to how Hindus fast before visiting Bhagwan Ayyappa in Sabarimala? The similarity is not a coincidence because there is an unheard history linked to it.

Sabarimala and Ayyappa

The Pamba River (also called the Pampa river) is the longest river in the Indian state of Kerala after Periyar and Bharathappuzha. Sabarimala temple dedicated to Bhagwan Ayyappa is situated on the banks of the river Pamba. Ayyappan (Sri Dharmasastha) appeared to the Pandalam Raja as a child on the banks of the Pamba River. The Pamba River has been venerated as the Ganga of Kerala, and devotees of Bhagwan Ayyappan believe that immersing oneself in the Pamba is equivalent to bathing in the Holy Ganges River. Bathing in the river, believed to absolve one’s sins, is a requirement before commencing the trek through the forest to the Ayyappan Temple atop Sabarimala.

Ayyappan is a warrior deity. He is revered for his devotion to Dharma – the ethical and right way of living, to deploy his military genius and bold yogic war abilities to destroy those who are powerful but unethical, abusive, and arbitrary.

Sindh and Jhulelal

This is what Hindus in Sindh also did. Before visiting holy shrines, they took a dip in the Sindhu River. Sindhu River is considered the Ganga of Sindh.

When Hindus in Sindh were praying to Bhagwan Varuna, they were trying to seek help against a powerful but unethical tyrant. Jhulelal appeared after 40 days in the form of a warrior similar to Ayappa. It was said in the Ancient Sindh villages that Varun Devata took lessons from Ayyappa at the banks of the Pamba River before taking birth in Sindh. This aspect of history was destroyed by modern historians who wanted to propagate a fake Aryan-Dravidian theory and divide Hindus. In reality, there was no Aryan invasion, and Varun Devata, before taking the form of Jhulelal, is said to have been trained by Ayyappa. Hence, there are uncanny similarities between them. This is the secret no one talks about anymore.

Important Lessons to Learn

Cheti Chand (Sindhi New Year) is in a couple of days. Our Isht Dev, Jhulelal, battled a tyrant in order to save us. A thousand years later, most of us are safe and happy under a free Indian sky because of him. However, our sisters and brothers across the border are suffering. Sindhi Hindus are being raped, murdered, and converted forcibly in Pakistan. We can’t stay silent anymore. We are one of the wealthiest communities in India & our silence is failing those young girls who are suffering to this day. If even a god can seek training in order to defend and save us successfully, even we can do it.
